Take me out to the ballgame!... Part 2 - Suite Style

    I was able to catch another College World Series game this weekend, but it was a completely different experience than last Saturdays game. Last week we enjoyed the OSU vs CSF game from the general admission seats, this week however, while attending first game in the championship series of OSU vs. UNC we were treated to the opposite end of the spectrum.

   We were able to get a suite that overlooked home plate, looking down the third baseline. It was awesome! All you could drink (soda, lemonade or water) with catered food service (wings, ravioli, mozzerella sticks and chicken fingers) and best of all, very cushy office chairs, air conditioning and a spectacular view. The game was great as well (especially if you are a Beaver fan) with a lot of hitting, scoring and some great double and triple plays. Final score was 11-4 Beavers over the Tarheels.

   A very, very special Thank You to Diane and J.D., who made tonight possible by helping us obtain the suite. Also, a very Happy Birthday to Diane! Thanks so much for this once in a lifetime experience. You rock!

Take me out to the ballgame!...

Got the chance to attend the Oregon State vs. Cal State Fullerton game on Saturday with a couple of my fraternity brothers.

Instead of playing it safe and buying reserved tickets, we chose to take in the game gritty, true fan style...from general admission seats :). We watched a pretty good game, ate some stadium food and got just a little red from the sun...basically had a great baseball experience. Hopefully, I can catch another game this week. Just a few photo's from the game...

The very hot line for general admission (and not Paris Hilton hot, more like brick oven hot, suntan lotion and liquid refreshment is a must)...


The Game...

Go Beavers! They defeated the CSF Titans 3-2 to advance into the winner's bracket games on Monday, Cal State moves into the loser's bracket(as of this post Cal State is out of the tourney)



...and most important...the beachballs that crowd brought in to amuse themselves between innings.
