Thoughts and prayers....

My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone who has been affected by the severe weather we have been experiencing as of late; especially to those who have lost loved ones to the violence of these storms.

My heartfelt condolences to the families, friends and communities of the four young men who lost their lives at the Little Sioux Scout Ranch yesterday and to all of have lost loved ones to the violence of these storms.

Any my best wishes to for a speedy recovery from the physical and emotional wounds suffered due to these tragedies.

Erin & JT's Wedding!

Tired after a long weekend of being on call as Resident Assistant and busy working on several class projects, the knocking at her door that Sunday night was the last thing that Erin wanted to hear. After calling out several times that the door was open and receiving no response, Erin weariness turned to frustration.

Fully expecting to find a resident with an issue that needed to be taken care of (aside from their apparent lack of hearing), Erin strode across her room and opened her door. Who she found on the other side of her door, however, was not the resident she had imagined. She instead found J.T., recently arrived from the airport for a surprise visit (secretly coordinated by JT with the help of Erin's friends.)

While JT's visit was short one, it helped to lay the foundation for the lifetime of love and commitment that Erin and JT vowed to each other today.

Congratulations you two! It was an honor and a privilege to be able to share and photograph your beautiful wedding and kick butt BBQ reception.
