Ashley & Matt: Wed!

Had a SIZZLING great time photographing Ashley and Matt's wedding yesterday! After a cloudy start and portents of rain and thunderstorms the sun finally came out, with a vengeance. Ashley freely admitted to doing an anti-rain dance, but forgot to mention that she added a "bring the heat" two-step combination as well :)

Heat aside, their wedding was absolutely beautiful. Surrounded by friends and family, Ashley and Matt said their vows against a backdrop of lush greenery and columns topped with roses on the flowering grounds of Lauritzen Botanical Gardens in Omaha.

Following their ceremony, we toured the Old Market in a new Denali limosine, making a few quick stops to toast the couple and take a few photos at some Omaha landmarks(where I pulled off a stunning Austin Powers impersonation, if I do say so myself!)

To finish off a wonderful day, Ashley & Matt dined and danced the night away at the beautiful DC Centre in Omaha.

Tina & Jake: Engaged!

I, along with my lovely wife and assistant Erin, headed down to the Old Market yesterday to meet up with Tina & Jake for their engagement shoot. We started off right next door to Spaghetti works then worked our way down towards and into Heartland of America Park to finish the evening. I was in photo heaven and, like a puppy who stops at every fire hydrant, bush and pole on the block, I dragged Tina and Jake into doorways, down a stairwell and sat them on chairs abandoned in alleys - all within the first block and a half! :) Tina & Jake, cool people that they are, were totally great sports about stopping every few feet though and we made some sweet photographs :)

Tina & Jake, it was great to see you both again! I had a ton of fun photographing you guys yesterday and I cannot wait to shoot your wedding in September!
