Happy New Year!!!....Belated!

Wow! Just noticed that I hadn't posted to the blog in a while and wanted to throw out a quick update.

Christmas and New Year's Eve went well...Hanging out with family and friends was a blast and I got the chance to play with my new toys: an 85mm 1.8 lens and Lowepro 300 sling-pack. The 85mm is a great low light lens and will definitely come in handy for the upcoming wedding season. The sling-pack makes it easier than ever to carry and access my equipment, without an aching back and shoulders. (Thanks, Ma!)

Other than that, Erin and I have been really busy being busy. Working, playing with the cats and dog, exercising, finding time to sleep...pretty much the same old stuff, but with a few exciting extras thrown in.

Exciting extra #1, Erin has just become a Tastefully Simple consultant, so we have spent a lot of time getting her up and running (by the way, Tastefully Simple has some great food for some great prices...my favorite is the Apple Cake made with apples (not apple sauce)...mmmmm,mmmm,good. Exciting Extra #2, my cousin Don and his fiance Katrina got married on the 19th. I missed the ceremony, but went to the reception on the 26th and had a great time. Don and Katrina,along with their daughters, are a lot of fun and make a great family. Congratulations again guys!

As for me, I have been busy doing a revamp of the website, working on some new galleries and slideshows, finding an accountant, getting ready for taxes (ugh!) and generally getting prepared for my first full year of business.

Oh, and trying not FREEZE, gosh it's been cold lately...I'm ready for Spring!

I'll leave off by saying that I'm really excited about this year and looking forward to all of the new opportunities that it brings! Happy New Year!!...Belated!
